A Pilgrimage to Ground Zero

Tickets are required to access the World Trade Center Viewing Platform. The free tickets are available at the South Street Seaport Museum ticket booth, about six blocks from Ground Zero. We arrived at about 9:30 a.m. to be sure that we would not miss the opportunity to get a ticket. There were about 100 people in line before we arrived; tickets were distributed beginning around 10:15 (although they advertise the opening as 11:00).
